Indoor storage units
When can I move in?
You can move in anytime during the month. The cost is prorated after the first 5 days of the month, for the remainder of the month.
Are reservation deposits refundable?
Reservation deposits are applied to your first month's rent and reservations will be honored for 5 days. You can do an inquiry without providing your credit card information and we can hold a unit for you this way as well.
What kind of security does Alberta Storage Place have?
The facility is entirely fenced, with 24-hour video and camera surveillance. The gate and heated buildings are locked and accessible via card reader. Security patrols are done 7 days a week. Access is 7 days a week, 5:30 am to 10:30 pm.
Do you offer vehicle storage?
We have both indoor (unheated) and outdoor sites available. Call 403-503-0738 for details.
How do I make a payment?
We accept payment by cash, cheque, debit or credit card, and email transfer. Our clients can come into the office to make a payment, pay online, or have automatic payments set up. We provide these options to meet your needs.
Do I need to have insurance?
Alberta Storage Place offers content insurance for your convenience, for a low monthly fee. You are not obligated to purchase insurance but you can purchase it for your peace of mind. We recommend you check with your Insurance Agent to determine if your goods are covered and if not we are able to offer coverage.

What happens if I lose my access card or key to my storage unit?
If you lose your access card, report to our Site Manager immediately so the card can be deactivated. After hours call our office at 403-503-0738 and leave a message so we can address this matter immediately. With written consent your lock can be removed and a new lock purchased in the office.
Do I need to bring my own lock?
You can supply your own lock or purchase one from our on-site store.
What kind of documentation do I need to have to rent storage?
We require valid photo ID issued from a government agency, and a valid credit card.
Can I rent a storage unit on the telephone or online?
New customers can reserve or rent a storage unit on the phone or online. You can come to the office during regular office hours, or scan and email your documents to us and come into the office to pick up your access card, or after hour access can be arranged.
How long do I have to rent my storage unit for?
We have a one month storage commitment. To cancel we require 30 days clear written notice, prior to the end of any calendar month. Please note: there is a minimum six month rental for RV and Yard Storage.
What happens if I need a different size unit upon moving in or as time goes on?
You can change your unit/space on short notice and we will transfer you to a unit that meets your needs, as long as we have the availability.
What can I store? Is there anything I cannot store?
You can store almost anything at Alberta Storage Place as long as it is not perishable, flammable or illegal!!
